Executive Telma Salles will leave the presidency of PróGenéricos (Brazilian Association of Generic Medicines Industries) until March 2023.
Until then, the entity, which brings together 16 pharmaceutical companies with 90% of sales in the generics segment and 50% of the biosimilars market in Brazil, will define the substitute.
In office since 2012, Salles has worked for more than three decades in the pharmaceutical sector, on the boards of companies such as Sandoz, EMS and Aché, and has followed the consolidation of the generics market in the country.
