Emergency grant of 20 million euros to fur farmers due to the war in Ukraine, through NSRF

From tomorrow the applications at www.ependyseis.gr with the indication: “Emergency Grant to businesses affected by Russia’s attack on Ukraine and the international sanctions imposed”.

The new action of the NSRF starts tomorrow which concerns a grant to businesses in the fur and related goods sector, with a budget of 20 million euros. According to the relevant publication of the invitation, the “Emergency Grant to businesses affected by Russia’s attack on Ukraine and the international sanctions imposed”, refers to the support – reinforcement of businesses in the fur and related goods sector that have been affected by the war situation in Ukraine and international sanctions against Russia.

The grant provided comes to cover in the form of working capital, future operating costs and raw material purchases in order to ensure part of the required liquidity for the continuation of economic activities and business operations, indirectly supporting the preservation of jobs.

The budget of the action aamounts to 20 million euros (17 million euros for small and medium enterprises with EPANEK resources and 3 million euros for large enterprises with purely national resources).

The action is co-financed with resources from Greece and the European Union (European Regional Development Fund – ERDF REACT EU). The grant per beneficiary company will be granted as a lump sum to provide liquidity and cover future purchases of raw materials and operating costs.

For businesses established within 2021, regardless of whether they had income from business activity or not, they receive a flat sum of 4,000 euros.

The maximum amount that can be granted as a lump sum amounts to 60,000 euros per beneficiary company (distinct VAT number).

Beneficiaries of the action are companies in the fur sector and related items based on the action’s eligible KAD, regardless of their legal form. The start date of electronic submission is Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. and the end date of electronic submission is Friday December 9, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.

The funding application is submitted electronically to the State Aid Information System (SSIS) provided by the Ministry of Development and Investments at the address www.ependyseis.gr with the indication: “Emergency Grant to businesses affected by Russia’s attack on Ukraine and the international sanctions imposed”.
