Nubank launched this Thursday (13) the “street mode”, a tool that limits the financial movements of the application when the customer leaves the house.
The user will register which is their safest wi-fi network, used at home, and the maximum amount that they can move when they are at another address.
The restriction will be activated by means of a button, as in the “airplane mode” of the cell phone.
According to Nubank, the tool was created to increase customer security, prevent fraud and protect the bank account in case of robbery, restricting access to accounts through the application.
For now, the tool will be released in the testing phase for a small customer base. The digital bank says it hopes to make it available to the general public in the coming days.
