by

Caixa released this Monday (17) the payment of the salary bonus for 1.1 million workers. The benefit is equivalent to a maximum of one minimum wage (R$ 1,212).

The extra lot includes allowances that went through review, which were requested in court and old allowances, which were not withdrawn by workers in calendars already closed (years 2016 to 2020).

The credit will be made in the account that the worker has at Caixa or in a Digital Social Savings account automatically opened in his name, which can be operated by the Caixa Tem app.

The salary bonus is an amount paid annually to those who, in the base year, worked with a formal contract earning up to two minimum wages, on average, among other rules.

The benefit amount is calculated according to the number of days worked during the reference base year. In this complementary lot, the average amount to be paid is R$398.99 and varies from R$101 to R$1,212.
