The Boa Vista credit bureau states that, from August to September, consumer demand for credit fell by 1% in seasonally adjusted data, a decline that almost nullified the effect of the two previous highs.
As a result, the indicator closed the third quarter with a slight increase of 0.1% compared to the previous three months.
The accumulated in 12 months has been losing strength and reached the level of 6.4% in September. In the previous month it was 7.9%, according to Boa Vista.
The slowdown is attributed to rising interest rates and defaults.
