Until the 1st of November the applications – Until the 15th of the same month the delivery of the old devices
The ministry sent the first notifications to the additional beneficiaries of the “change device” program.
It is about for 200,000 new beneficiaries who join the program, through which they will be able to purchase up to three devices, with discount from 30% to 50%.
The program has been extended to submit applications until November 1st, while by November 15th they should have handed in their old devices.
More specifically:
With the extension of the Recycle – Change Device Program, the corresponding milestone dates of the program are transferred as follows:
Shopping Period: Purchases using Program checks can be made by the beneficiaries until Tuesday, November 1, 2022 (the purchase deadline).
Delivery of Old Devices by Beneficiaries: Deliveries of old devices for recycling by beneficiaries to traders can be made until Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
Transitional period: Possibility of refunds / cancellations of transactions under the Program, as specifically defined in section 7.5, can be made until Thursday, December 1, 2022 (the end of the transitional period).
Within the same period, the purchase of new devices (new redemption) is exceptionally permitted only for checks canceled after the purchase end milestone (within the transition period).
Complete payments: All payments to suppliers are expected to be completed by Friday 31 March 2023.
