The platform will remain open until Monday, November 7
The arogi.gov.gr platform was opened yesterday, Monday, October 24, by a joint decision of the Ministers of Finance, Development and Investments, Rural Development and Food and State for the businesses affected by the extreme weather phenomena of October 15 in Crete and wish to receive first aid against a grant.
The amount of the aid, according to an announcement by the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, responsible for State Aid and Rehabilitation from Natural Disasters, Christos Triandopoulos, amounts to 1,000 euros for businesses with light material damage, 3,000 euros for businesses with serious material damage and 6,000 euros for businesses with very serious material damage.
Beneficiaries are businesses and non-profit organizations – with the exception of agricultural holdings, i.e. those that have an exclusively agricultural activity – located in areas of the Municipal Unit of Sitia, the Regional Unit of Lassithi of the Region of Crete and the Municipal Unit of Gazi of the Regional Unit of Heraklion, which were severely affected by the floods and have been declared a civil protection emergency. The platform will remain open for applications until Monday 7 November 2022.
