Bolsonarist groups say they will not leave the streets after the president’s speech

The appeal of Bolsonarista groups on Telegram after the speech by President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), this Tuesday (1st), is for the maintenance of protests in the streets.

“Let’s not abandon the streets. On the contrary, let’s remain firm, because I think that between the lines of this speech there may be something”, soon said a supporter.

“At no time did he say that it is not to manifest. This is the signal he gave us,” said another. “The message he gave: peaceful demonstration without blocking the passages.”

In a statement after two days of silence, Jair Bolsonaro (PL) said that “current popular movements are the result of indignation and a feeling of injustice at how the electoral process took place” and that “peaceful demonstrations will always be welcome”. He condemned, however, “left methods” such as curtailing the right to come and go.

“Pay attention! Don’t stop the demonstrations! We need 72 hours for the Armed Forces to make a federal intervention!”, says another user.

Since the victory of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), Bolsonaristas organize barricades, being a relevant part in Telegram groups. Despite some blockades ordered this Tuesday by the TSE (Superior Electoral Court), several groups remain active with coup calls.
