Truck driver must make self-declaration by this Monday (7) to receive federal aid

by

Self-employed truck drivers have until this Monday (7) to make the self-declaration and receive the fifth installment of the aid paid by the federal government to the category. The document can be filled out on the Employs Brasil Portal or on the Digital Work Card application.

The payment of the truck driver allowance will be made on November 19. If you miss the deadline, the driver will not be able to access the fifth installment and will only receive the sixth installment, paid in December. To do so, you must make a self-declaration by November 28.

The benefit has a value of R$ 1,000. Anyone who has not regularized does not receive. The self-declaration must be filled in by those who are registered with ANTT (National Road Cargo Transport Agency), but who have not registered a cargo transport operation this year.

How does the payment of aid work?

ANTT forwards the list of truck drivers registered in the RNTR-C to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, which will send the data to Dataprev (a government technology company). You must have the “Active” record in the RNTR-C.

Dataprev will be responsible for analyzing and processing the data received from the databases indicated by ANTT. The objective is to identify the professionals who are able to receive the amount.

Payment is made through Caixa Econômica Federal, according to the schedule below.

Portion Deadline for self-declaration Payment

6th November 28th December 10th

Benefit was paid in the re-election attempt

With the increase in fuel this year, the federal government saw its popularity drop and bet on the payment of aid to truck drivers and taxi drivers in search of reelection, in addition to other measures that burdened public coffers. In all, six installments of R$ 1,000 will be paid for each professional.

The extra amount to help these professionals is part of the PEC (proposed amendment to the Constitution) Kamikaze, which circumvented electoral legislation and opened space for the federal government to spend high amounts in an attempt to re-election. However, Jair Bolsonaro (PL) lost the election to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT)

In addition to making the payment on the eve of the election, the calendar of benefits, including that of Auxílio Brasil, was modified. The December installment for truck drivers and taxi drivers, for example, which was scheduled to be released on the 17th, was brought forward to the 10th.
