Federal highways again have 6 blockages, says PRF

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) said, this Friday (18), that there are six roadblocks on federal highways, on a day when truck drivers called for strikes on social media.

Blockades are made by supporters of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), who do not accept the result of the elections.

The PRF was questioned by the report, but did not say where the blockades occur, nor what measures were taken. On social networks, the corporation said that there are six total blockages and one partial blockade, and that, in total, 1156 bans have been undone since the end of the electoral dispute.

In a decision last Saturday (12), the Minister of the STF (Federal Supreme Court) Alexandre de Moraes ordered the blocking of bank accounts linked to 43 people and companies suspected of involvement with anti-democratic acts that question the outcome of the elections.

The decision, of Saturday (12), is under secrecy. The Federal Police will have ten days to take the testimony of the targets and indicate the steps it deems necessary.

On Bolsonarist social networks, videos of blockades and lists of places with stoppages circulate. The Chief Executive published on his TikTok profile this morning a compilation of videos in which he drives a truck, tractor and bus, which was interpreted by his supporters as a veiled gesture of support.

In different cities, supporters of the president demand the Armed Forces to promote a coup that prevents the inauguration of president-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).

In the first days after the election, Bolsonarist groups blocked roads across the country. They also organize anti-democratic demonstrations in front of barracks.
