Vehicle production maintained the growth pace in November, according to Anfavea (association of automakers). 205,700 light and heavy vehicles were manufactured last month, an increase of 4.9% compared to the same period last year.
In relation to October, the growth is 4.7%, while in the accumulated result for the year there is a high of 6.9%.
The increase in exports has helped to keep factories active in a scenario still affected by the semiconductor supply crisis. Overseas sales went from 334.8 thousand units between January and November 2021 to 449.7 thousand in the same period of 2022, an increase of 34.3%.
Sales, on the other hand, continue to be boosted by rental companies, but the rise in credit and products has affected retail performance. This segment was also influenced by recent events, such as the World Cup and the electoral period.
Registration of light and heavy vehicles registered the second month above 200,000 units in 2022. November ended with 204,000 licenses, a number that includes passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, buses and trucks. The data are based on the Renavam (National Register of Motor Vehicles).
In comparison with October, there was an increase of 12.8%. In relation to November 2021, the growth is 17.9%.
