by

The search for the jerseys of Argentina and Morocco grew in the final stretch of the World Cup in Qatar.

According to data from Netshoes –one of the biggest retailers of sporting goods, controlled by Magazine Luiza–, the search for Argentina’s white and blue shirt increased by 91% in the last 13th, compared to the previous game, on the 9th.

This Tuesday (13), Lionel Messi’s team won 3-0 against Croatia, responsible for Brazil’s defeat in the round of 16 on the 9th.

Since the national team left the World Cup, Argentina’s shirt was the best seller on the Netshoes website.

The “zebra” Morocco saw the search for its shirt among Brazilians grow 252% on the last day 10, in relation to the previous game, on the 6th. On the 10th, Morocco thrashed Portugal by 1-0, which secured, for the first time, the participation of an African team in a World Cup semifinal.

The search for the jersey of the French national team, in turn –which faces Morocco this Wednesday (14th) in a semifinal game– was not very exciting. There was a 4% drop in searches on the 10th, when “Les Bleus” beat England 2-1, compared to the French game against Poland on the 4th.

According to Netshoes, the ten most sold selection shirts since the beginning of the Cup until today are: Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Japan, Spain, Mexico, France, Belgium, Holland and Portugal.
