The deadline for submitting the application – declaration of choice of insurance category is 31/1/2023
The e-EFKA website was put into operation special electronic platformthrough which the insured self-employed, self-employed and farmers can choose freely the insurance category in which they wish to be classified for the new year 2023 (Section Insured-> Selection of Insurance Category of Main Insurance, Supplementary Insurance and Lump-sum Benefits from 1/1/2023).
The choice of insurance category is declared for the Main and Auxiliary Insurance and Lump-sum Benefit branches in a single application and is valid for the whole year.
The deadline for submitting the application – declaration of choice of insurance category is 31/1/2023.
It is clarified that the insured who will not submit an application – declaration of choice/change will remain, for the year 2023, in the category they were classified in the previous year.
It is recalled that choosing the higher insurance categories also leads to higher pension benefits.
