The World Economic Forum was postponed because of the omicron variant. The annual meeting would take place between January 17th and 21st of next year in Davos, and is now scheduled for the beginning of summer in the northern hemisphere, which starts at the end of June.
On the original date, there will be online sessions to bring together world leaders. “The current conditions of the pandemic make it extremely difficult to hold a world meeting in person”, stated this Monday (20th) the organizers.
