It is noted that, on the first Sunday of the sales, that is on January 15, the shops of the entire territory will be able to operate from 11 am to 8 pm.
The president underlined that “this year’s winter sales take place in a special period where the economy has strengthened with the government continuing to support households and businesses, which has increased the expectations of the commercial world who are hoping for a “warm” movement amid winter that is still expected. Let’s not forget that the two-month time frame of discounted low prices reduces inflation by up to one unit.”
At the same time, the long period of time gives the consumer the opportunity to use the time to evaluate the goods they want to buy. “We have said it too many times that the greatest folly and punishment is to try to fool the consumer. He has done his market research, he can do it very easily online and everything he wants to buy he has located, he has tracked it on price, so he knows in advance what is good for him to buy. Bearing in mind that significant discounts will be offered, the commercial world hopes that the movement will be dynamically proportional to the start of the discount periods before the restrictions of the pandemic, while they may signal something different better given that the intermediate sales that acted “disruptively” in the shopping have been abolished interesting”, noted Korkidis.
