One will follow third payment cycle on April 28 for all purchases to be invoiced by March 31, 2023 and provided the required information is entered by April 15, 2023.

Natural gas users they should enter the details of purchases from 1/10/2022 to 31/3/2023 by 31 May. The full amount will be paid by June 15 based on the schedule. Even further back, specifically until August 10th, the payments of those who are heated through thermal energy from district heating are scheduled. Those in question must submit the purchase details by July 15.

The heating allowance ranges from €100 to €800 and reaches up to €1000 for residents of very cold areas, which have a subsidy factor equal to or greater than the unit such as Kozani, Florina and Karpenissi. Especially for those who were able to give up natural gas this year and switch to other forms of heating, the allowance is doubled to €1600.

They are NOT entitled to the heating allowance

  • Those who are declared in the tax return as guests
  • Those declared in the tax return as dependent members
  • Those who pay luxury living tax
  • Tax residents abroad who are required to submit a tax return in Greece as well as their spouse.
