The deadline for submitting an application for the heating benefit on the myHeating platform of the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE).

According to the schedule, payment of the next installment of the heating allowance is scheduled for February 28, 2023 for purchases invoiced by January 31, 2023 and subject to registration of the required data by February 15, 2023.
The last installment is scheduled for April 28, for all purchases to be invoiced by March 31, 2023 and provided the required information is entered by April 15, 2023.
Especially for natural gasthe purchase documents will be registered until May 31, 2023 for the period 1/10/2022 to 31/03/2023 with the date of issue of the payment document until May 16, 2023 and the corresponding allowance amount will be paid until June 15, 2023.
For consumption of thermal energy through district heatingthe purchasing documents for the period 1/10/2022 to 31/03/2023 will be registered until July 15, 2023 with the date of issue of the payment document until June 30, 2023 and the corresponding allowance amount will be paid until August 10, 2023.
The heating allowance ranges from 100 euros to 800 euros with an increase to 1,000 euros especially for residents of very cold areas, while for new beneficiaries and those who abandon natural gas the allowance doubles up to 1,600 euros.
Very cold areas are considered settlements whose subsidy factor is greater than or equal to unity (1). These areas include many areas such as Florina, Kozani, Karpenisi etc.
The allowance for each beneficiary is calculated by multiplying the basic amount of 350 euros by the subsidy factor, 0.12 to 1.62 determined for the settlement in which their main residence is located.
