Auxílio Brasil calendar is anticipated and the benefit is released on the holiday

The government pays this week for another round of the Brazil Aid in January. The 2023 payment schedule began on the 18th of January and continues until the 31st of January, with interruptions on weekends. Deposits of amounts are made in stages, according to the final number of the benefit.

The aid for those who have final NIS 4 has been released since last Saturday (21), according to Caixa. The bank informs that Auxílio Brasil installments starting on Mondays are available for transfer from the previous Saturday. This anticipation has already been applied in other months.

As for the public holiday in the city of São Paulo this Wednesday (25), Caixa informed that the benefit for those with final NIS 5 will be credited normally. However, bank branches in the capital of São Paulo will not open this Wednesday, but the beneficiary can move the values ​​through Caixa Tem or with the card at the bank’s ATMs. For those who need in-person service, you will need to wait until Thursday (26).

In the country, 21.9 million families will receive the benefit this month, in the total amount of R$ 13.38 billion, in 5,570 municipalities. The average amount received per family is R$ 614.21, according to the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance.

Re-registration will evaluate families that do not fit the rules

The government has already informed that it will carry out a reanalysis of the families in the Cadastro Único that receive the benefit.

According to the Minister of Development and Social Assistance, Wellington Dias, of the 10 million families with evidence of outdated registration or irregularity, 2.5 million have a stronger indication of not fitting the rules.

President Lula has not yet officially launched the new Bolsa Família, but he avoided using the name Auxílio Brasil, a trademark of the Bolsonaro government, when he announced the start of the 2023 aid payment schedule.
