“Until June 30, 2022, it is forbidden for essential items (food, masks, gloves, antiseptics) to have a profit margin greater than 20% than in February 2020, ie before the start of the pandemic,” he said. .
At the same time, for anyone who violates this ban, the fines are high. “We have imposed many fines so far on those who dared to do so.”
Specifically on the issue of the revaluation of the masks of increased protection in a specific store, in which the prices since the announcement of the new measures increased by 42%, Mr. Georgiadis stated that it is a civil offense and fines are imposed.
