DYPA: Results posted for the 14,800 euro grant program for young entrepreneurs

As stated in the relevant announcement, the action concerns the support of new businesses created by former unemployed people, aged 30-45

Today, Friday January 27, 2023, the results of the evaluation of funding applications for the new “business initiative grant program to employ 3,220 young freelancers, aged 30 to 45, in the Regions of North Macedonia and Thrace, were posted on the website of the Public Employment Service (PYPA). Western Greece, Epirus, Thessaly, Central Macedonia and Western Macedonia, with an emphasis on the digital economy”.

As stated in a relevant announcement, the action concerns the strengthening of new businesses that have been created (from January 1, 2022) by former unemployed people, aged 30-45, with an emphasis on businesses that are active in sectors of the digital economy.

The grant amounts to 14,800 euros and will be paid in three installments as follows:

– 1st installment of 4,000 euros, after the approval of the financing application.

– 2nd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the first semester from the start or from the date of foundation of all the terms and conditions of the action.

– 3rd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the second semester from the start or from the date of establishment of all the terms and conditions of the action.

Objections may be submitted electronically, through the State Aid Information System (SSIS) of the Ministry of Development and Investments, at www.ependyseis.gr, within the exclusive deadline of 15 calendar days from the notification of the interested parties (from Monday 30-1-2023 and time 13:00 until Monday 13-2-2023 and time 15:00).

The total budget of the program amounts to 47,656,000 euros and is co-financed by the Greek State and the European Social Fund, within the framework of the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation-EPANEK 2014-2020.
