by

Procon-SP notified the company Eventim Brasil demanding explanations about problems in the sale of tickets for concerts by the RBD group in the capital of São Paulo.

Fans of the band reported difficulties in completing the purchase of tickets on Friday (27) through the website. Problems were also pointed out in the sale of tickets at the Pacaembu Stadium, in São Paulo. Eventim has until this Tuesday (31) to answer questions from Procon-SP.

Phenomenon of the 2000s, RBD performs in Brazil in four concerts of the “Soy Rebelde Tour”, on the 16th, 17th and 18th of November at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo, and on the 19th of November at the Nilton Santos Stadium, in the river.

Tickets on the 17th and 19th are sold out. Tickets for the presentations on the 16th and 18th will have an exclusive pre-sale for Banco BRB customers on Thursday (2nd), from 10am. General sale for both dates starts the following day.

Procon-SP wants Eventim to inform if it identified the origin of the problems described in the complaints and what measures were adopted.

The agency also wants to know what mechanisms the company has adopted to avoid selling tickets to exchangers. Eventim must also prove the load of tickets offered for sale in all modalities and sectors, for each day of the event, and what is the processing and payment method through the website and physical channels.

Procon also asks for detailed information on the costs related to the acquisition of each type of ticket, detailing all incident values, such as fees, freight, promotional discounts, among others.

Known for being formed in the soap opera “Rebelde”, which premiered in 2004 and was broadcast in Brazil by SBT, the band continued its career even after the end of the plot and played shows until 2009, becoming a phenomenon in Brazil.

The tour “Soy Rebelde Tour” promotes a reunion of five of the six members on stage. Tickets for the presentations in São Paulo cost from R$ 210 (upper chair). The lower one is sold for BRL 280, the common track costs BRL 240 and the premium one costs BRL 425.
