The COB (Olympic Committee of Brazil) wants to change the name of Parque Villa Lobos, in São Paulo, during the period of the Olympic Games in Paris, between July and August 2024.
The project changes the name of the park to Parque Villa Olímpica in the first Olympic Fan Fest in the country, which will be called Festival Olímpico.
According to the COB, the event includes concerts, exhibition of the national Olympic collection and sports clinics with Olympic medalists among the activities. One of them will be the COB Sensorial Museum with the history of the Brazilian Olympic movement in a collection of more than 3,000 items.
The committee intends to use 15 sports equipment from Villa Lobos for interactions at the event.
The action will be launched this Monday (13).
