The General Price Index closed at 1,119.25 points
Strong recovery they recorded stock prices at today’s meeting Stock Exchange, after yesterday’s strong corrective pullback, amid upward movement in European markets as well.
From the high capitalization, the shares of Ethniki, GEK TERNA, Terna Energy and Alpha Bank outperformed.
O General Price Index closed at 1,119.25 unitsnoting up 1.63%.
The value of transactions amounted to 110.67 million euros, while 41,999,083 shares were traded.
The large-cap index gained 1.63%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.48%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Ethniki (+4.67%), GEK TERNA (+4.06%), Terna Energy (+3.83%), Alpha Bank (+ 3.57%), Jumbo (+2.88%) and Piraeus (+2.82%).
Conversely, the shares of OTE (-2.63%), PPA (-0.54%) and Eurobank (-0.29%) fell.
Of the individual indices, the largest increase was recorded by the indices of Personal Products (+2.82%), Constructions (+2.66%) and Utilities (+2.52%), while the largest losses were recorded by indices of Health (-3.62%) and Telecommunications (-2.61%).
The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 16,218,544 and 6,287,433 shares, respectively.
Alpha Bank recorded the highest value of transactions with 23.35 million euros and National Bank with 12.78 million euros.
76 stocks moved up, 26 down and 26 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Tria ‘Alfa (p) +13.46% and Mathios Pyrimaha +9.21%.
The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Tria ‘Alfa(k) -20.00% and VIS -5.50%.
