An extension until June 30, 2022 was given by the competent Ministries of Finance and Labor to implement the measure of subsidizing fixed expenses, for those companies that did not use the credit coupon to pay tax and insurance obligations.

According to the announcement, “the government and the Ministries of Finance and Labor & Social Affairs, responding to the needs of companies that have been negatively affected by the coronavirus crisis, have proceeded to modify the regime to support businesses in the form of subsidies for fixed costs ».

More specifically, with the decision GDOU1078 / 30.12.2021 (ΒΔ 6367), the initial Decision of the Ministries of Finance and Labor & Social Affairs was amended, which defines the procedure and conditions for the aid, extending the validity of the regime.

As stated in the decision, the amounts of aid in the form of credit to the tax authority and e-EFKA, which had been issued under the aid in the form of a grant of fixed costs and could be used until 31 December 2021, can now be used until June 30, 2022, for those companies that did not use them in their entirety, according to the statement that has already been submitted.

In particular, the aid in the part concerning the right to deduct from tax debts, is applied as a deduction from tax liabilities of the years 2021 and 2022, which become payable from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022, while in the part concerning insurance coverage contributions, the aid amount is included as a credit balance in the shares of the beneficiary companies and is offset against the current insurance liabilities arising from the Detailed Periodic Statements of the salary periods June 2021 to May 2022.

In addition, taking into account the special circumstances faced by the companies affected by the recent fires, namely those of Northern Evia, the exemption of these companies from the obligation to retain staff is provided. In particular, the companies that were proven to be affected, according to data that will be sent by the respective Region and ELGA, from the summer fires that broke out in areas of the country, as they have been delimited by the data under D.A.E.F. .Κ.-Κ.Ε / 13758 / Α325 / 20.08.2021 (Β΄ 3905), Δ.Α.Ε.Φ.Κ.-Κ.Ε / 13975 / Α325 / 20.08.2021 (Β΄ 3898), Δ .Α.Ε.Φ.Κ.-Κ.Ε / 13665 / Α325 / 17.08.2021 (ΒΔ 3863) and Δ.Α.Ε.Φ.Κ.-Κ.Ε / 11203 / Α325 / 09.07.2021 ( ΒΔ 3077) Decisions of the Ministers of Finance, Development & Investment, Interior, Infrastructure & Transport, are not obliged to maintain the level of employment. Especially the companies that have a headquarters or branch in the Municipalities of Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna and Istiaia-Edipsos of the Regional Unit of Evia of the Region of Central Greece, which were affected by the fire of August 2021, are not obliged to maintain the level without employment. the submission of further supporting documents.

And the announcement concludes: The government and relevant ministries continue to provide practical support to companies affected by the coronavirus pandemic crisis, as well as those affected by recent fires, by modifying existing regimes where necessary, with a view to optimal possible support for the economy.
