The annual Magalu Fantastic Sale event, which takes place this week, will reach its record number of sellers in this 29th edition of the campaign.
According to the company, the promotion will bring together 5,000 retailers, the so-called sellers, this year, with an offer of 8 million products, compared to 1,465 last Black Friday, with 5 million items.
The expansion points to the consolidation of the marketplace as the company’s main growth vector in recent years and the strategy of digitizing small retailers across the country.
Currently, the Magalu platform has 120,000 registered sellers, according to the company, and has increased the number of logistics centers to meet the acceleration in the pandemic from 17 to 26.
