A total of eight subsidized training programs are currently available for 9,330 unemployed young people up to 29 years old and 14,500 over 30 years old, registered in the Public Employment Service (PYPA) registers.
As the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs points out in its announcement, the aim of these programs is to develop the professional skills of the unemployed, which will strengthen the possibility of connecting to the labor market and their employment.
The programs include personalized counseling guidance, theoretical training and certification of the professional knowledge of the participants, in order to upgrade their professional skills in thematic subjects related to their scientific and professional field, as well as to acquire additional new knowledge (new skills) and/or horizontal skills (soft skills).
