The Public Debt Management Organization announced on Friday the bond auction schedule for the second quarter of the year.

The State, which so far since the beginning of the year has gone to the markets twice, raising about 6 billion euros, plans to carry out three more “market exits” until June. It is recalled that the overall borrowing program of the State for this year had been determined to approximately 7 billion euros.

According to the ODDIX announcement, the three new bond auctions will take place on April 19, May 17 and June 21.

As mentioned in the announcement, the Hellenic Government Bonds (HGB) auction program is part of the issuing activity of the Greek Government for the year 2023, while at the same time it aims to improve the functioning of the secondary market of Greek government bonds.

ODDICH will announce its final decision regarding (i) the execution of the scheduled auction (ii) the ISIN of the OED issues to be auctioned and (iii) the amount of the auctioned amounts, one day before the date of each auction, taking into account the relevant information from the team of Key Market Traders.

Besides, it is noted that today the markets in Europe were closed due to the Catholic Easter. In the secondary bond market (HDAT) there were no transactions and the yield of the 10-year bond stood at 4.08%.
