The employment balance was positive in February 2023, according to the data of the “ERGANI” Information System. However, as the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs states in its announcement, during the first two months of the year, the balance was negative, due to the performance of January.

In particular, in February, the recruitment announcements went up at 183,236 and departures reached 160,050 (97,373 terminations of open-ended contracts or terminations of fixed-term contracts and 62,677 voluntary departures). Thus, the balance of wage employment flows in the first month of the year was positive by 23,186 jobs.

In the two months of January-February, recruitment announcements reached 369,549 and departures reached 373,974 (229,685 terminations of open-ended contracts or terminations of fixed-term contracts and 144,289 voluntary departures). Thus, the balance of wage employment flows in the first half of the year was negative by 4,425 jobs.
