Share prices moved higher in the last session of the Stock Exchange before the Easter holidays, with the market breaking the resistance of 1,100 points upwards. The market completed ten consecutive bullish sessions, during which the main stock index recorded a total gain of 7.75%.

The General Price Index closed at 1,102.79 points, marking an increase of 0.63%. On a weekly basis, the main stock market index recorded a rise of 2.68%, since the beginning of April it has strengthened to a percentage of 4.57%, while since the beginning of the year it has recorded gains of a percentage of 18.61%.

The value of the transactions amounted to 95.26 million euros, while 29,575,244 shares were traded. The large-cap index gained 0.58%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.99%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Jumbo (+2.74%), Lamda Development (+2.59%), Piraeus (+1.83%), Ellaktor (+1.66 %) and Eurobank (+1.47%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Motor Oil (-2.98%), Aegean Airlines (-2.77%) and OPAP (-1.10%). Of the individual indices, the largest increase was recorded by the indices of Health (+4.43%), Personal Products (+2.55%) and Real Estate (+1.97%), while the largest losses were recorded by the indices of Oil (-1.88%) and Travel (-1.26%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Eurobank and Piraeus, trading 13,590,618 and 4,104,447 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Eurobank with 17.29 million euros and Mytileneos with 13.07 million euros.

62 stocks moved up, 32 fell and 29 remained stable. The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Xylemporia (p) +8.11% and Chaidemenos +5.77%. The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Tria ‘Alfa (k) -11.63% and Attica Publications -8.81%.
