There are 507 funding applications submitted to the “Smart Manufacturing” Action, which is implemented by the Ministry of Development and Investments, the General Secretariat of Industry and the special service for Management and Implementation of Industry-Trade and Consumer sectors, the Economic Chamber of Greece and the Technical Chamber of Greece, within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan – Greece 2.0.

As recalled in a ministry announcement, the total subsidized budget amounts to 707,526,463.98 euros and the total requested grant to 396,757,356.46 euros.

The action aims to strengthen the very small, small and medium-sized enterprises of the Greek industrial ecosystem to strengthen their technological infrastructure and upgrade their mechanical equipment, with the use of smart cutting-edge technologies included in Industry 4.0, with low environmental impacts.

In the following period, the implementing bodies of the action will complete all the required actions for the start of the comparative evaluation of the submitted investment plans.
