Workers residing in the states of Minas Gerais and Bahia, in emergency areas affected by the rains, will receive PIS allowances on February 8, regardless of the month of birth. According to the minister, so far 107,000 workers will have the anticipation.

PIS consultation starts in February

Consultation and withdrawal of the Pasep allowance
According to Banco do Brasil, after the institution receives information on identified allowances from the Ministry of Labour, the consultation will be available on the portal www.bb.com.br/pasep, at ATMs and at branches.

Those who have a current account at Banco do Brasil will receive the Pasep deposit in their account on the date established in the calendar. Participants who are not BB account holders can make the transfer, via TED, to their account at the bank’s ATMs and on the portal www.bb.com.br/pasep. It is also possible to withdraw cash at the branches, upon presentation of an official identity document.

Calendar change delayed payments
In March 2021, Codefat approved a change in the PIS/Pasep calendar, which became annual and no longer by the system that started payments in the second half of a year and continued until the first half of the following year.
This year, there will only be payment of the allowance for the period worked in 2020, that is, there will be no new PIS/Pasep releases for later years.
The salary bonus is different from the quotas, which are due to beneficiaries who worked between 1971 and 1988 and did not withdraw the amounts, as well as their heirs, if applicable.
