Latam updates the number of canceled flights; see list

The airline Latam updated this Tuesday (11) the list of flights that were canceled because of the departure of part of the crew, contaminated with Covid-19.

From last Sunday (9) to next Sunday (16) 135 flights are being cancelled. On Monday (10), the company had reported 123 cancellations.

According to the Latam press office, part of the canceled flights were reconfirmed. While others were added to the list. The update is dynamic due to daily medical leave.

Between Thursday (6) and Monday (10), Latam and Azul had reported the cancellation of more than 500 flights. Consultants estimate that the cancellations should follow the contamination curve of the omicron variant and extend until the end of February.

Gol reported this Tuesday that it has not yet registered any flight cancellations due to the team’s medical leave. Azul, which until yesterday had daily cancellation of 90 flights (about 10% of its network), did not respond until the closing of this report.

This Monday (10), Procon-SP notified airlines to inform the number of canceled flights and the total number of consumers harmed due to the increase in cases of Covid-19 and influenza among employees.

Latam requests that, before heading to the airport, the passenger checks the status of his flight on the company’s website. Check the list of flights canceled until next Sunday (16):
