Titles of end for Taxis as we know it until today, prescribes a decision of the Deputy Minister of Finance Theodoros Skylakakis by which the new Taxis joins the Recovery Fund.

The same applies to taxisnet and elenxis, which have been operating for more than 20 years. AADE is gradually proceeding with their replacement after the inclusion of the project of the unified Integrated Taxation Information System in the Recovery and Resilience Fund.

Existing information systems have significant limitations and digital transformation will fill the gaps by harnessing the vast amount of data to tackle tax fraud and smuggling.

According to the decision of Mr. Skylakakis, the project aims at the integration, collection and utilization of databases, the treatment of tax evasion and non-compliance, but also generally the improvement of the services provided by AADE to the taxpayer. Among others it includes the integration and utilization of existing applications and services, such as EISPRAXIS, myDATA, myPROPERTY, ship register, etc.

Among other things, the integration and utilization of existing applications and services, such as EISPRAXIS, myDATA, myPROPERTY, ship register, etc., are foreseen, while the new system should utilize and interoperate with the current AADE systems, provide the possibility of interconnection with new future systems or systems of third parties, such as for example the OPS of Human Resources, Central Document Management System, Land Registry, which interact with the structural elements of the new taxation system.
