What the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs says in its announcement
The completion of the payment of the main and auxiliary pensions for June 2023, which started at the end of last week, the advance payment of pension for the same month and the benefits of the Organization of Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) for May, includes, among others, the scheduling of payments from e-EFKA, the Public Employment Service (DYPA) and OPECA, for the week of May 29, 2023-June 2, 2023.
In total, it is estimated that around 2 billion euros will be paid to almost 4.9 million beneficiaries.
In particular, as stated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in its announcement:
1. Next week, e-EFKA will make the following payments, as part of the organization’s regular payments:
– On Monday, May 29, 2023, 809.8 million euros will be paid for the main and auxiliary June pensions to 1,562,242 pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires in 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
– On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, 813.8 million euros will be paid to 1,565,403 pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires on 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.
– On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, 5.5 million euros will be paid to 15,000 beneficiaries for pension advances for the month of June, based on Law 4778/2021.
It is recalled that the payment of the main and auxiliary pensions for June 2023 began on Friday, May 26, 2023, with the payment of 545.6 million euros to 916,314 pensioners from the former bodies: OAEE, OGA, NAT, ETAT, ETAA, ETAP-MME and PPC.
– In addition, next week, 14 million euros will be paid to 950 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions.
– Finally, 350,000 euros will be paid to 470 beneficiaries for benefits of the TAVTEKO district.
2. The following payments will be made by DYPA:
– 14 million euros to 26,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
– 16 million euros to 11,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs.
– 6.5 euros to 6,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
– 4 million euros to 300 beneficiaries for public benefit programs.
3. OPECA will make the following payments on Wednesday, May 31, 2023:
– 170 million euros to 680,000 beneficiaries for family child benefits.
– 82 million euros to 177,000 beneficiaries for disability benefits (disability and maintenance).
– 41.9 million euros to 201,145 beneficiaries for Minimum Guaranteed Income.
– 33.3 million euros to 276,097 beneficiaries for housing allowance.
– 13.1 million euros to 35,757 beneficiaries for uninsured elderly benefits.
– 9.78 million euros to 9,750 beneficiaries for birth allowance.
– 247,952 euros to 509 beneficiaries for a financial aid underwriting allowance.
– 222,207 euros to 710 beneficiaries for housing assistance allowance.
– 205,729 euros to 5,842 beneficiaries for expatriate allowance.
– 196,925 euros to 2,269 beneficiaries as a State contribution to loans (main residence protection).
– 112,271 euros to 141 beneficiaries for funeral expenses of the uninsured.
– 88,767 euros to 512 beneficiaries as a State contribution to loans of the “GEFYRA” program (due to COVID-19).
– 25,000 euros to 80 beneficiaries as financial support under the “Personal Assistant” program.
– 11,700 euros to 25 beneficiaries as an allowance for mountainous and disadvantaged areas.
– 9,100 euros to 60 beneficiaries for an allowance for expatriates from North Epirus.
– 8,794 euros to 78 beneficiaries as a State contribution to vulnerable debtors.
