Today is the deadline for the payment of the first installment of ENFIA by 7.2 million property owners, who received the tax settlement in the previous period.

ENFIA is paid in 10 equal monthly installments, with the last installment due in February 2024.

Taxpayers can pay the tax in one lump sum, without, however, being entitled to the 3% deduction as is the case in the case of a lump sum payment of income tax.

Otherwise, taxpayers have the alternative of paying the tax using a credit card, in 12 interest-free installments or opting for 24 monthly interest-bearing installments by including the debt in the fixed settlement.

Those taxpayers who have found in their declaration errors in the real estate data or the deduction to which they are entitled has not been calculated, have the opportunity to submit an initial or amending return E9 by June 30, limiting the real estate tax bill.

AADE will proceed with a new liquidation of EN.F.I.A. for those who correct their property image. Depending on the type of errors and omissions in the property descriptions the tax reduction can range from 20% to 90%.
