Falling trends were registered by stock prices in today’s session Stock Exchange with turnover falling to lower levels, amid downward movement in European markets as well.

O General Price Index closed at 1,268.52 points, down 0.71%.

The value of transactions amounted to 79.68 million euros, while 19,504,818 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 1.05%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.37%.

Among the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Aegean Airlines (+3.64%), PPA (+1.72%), Terna Energy (+1.28%) and Sarantis (+1 .08%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of OPAP (-4.99%), Viohalco (-2.91%), Elvalhalcor (-2.68%), Jumbo (-2.24%) and Piraeus (-2.13%).

OPAP’s shares are traded today without the right to the return of capital amounting to 0.45 euros per share.

Of the individual indices, the Real Estate (+0.50%) and Trade (+0.49%) indices recorded the greatest increase, while the Raw Materials indices (-2.42%) and of Personal Products (-2.08%).

Piraeus and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 4,062,536 and 3,763,095 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by Piraeus with 12.05 million euros and Terna Energy with 9.43 million euros.

40 stocks moved up, 73 fell and 12 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: VIS +9.92% and Domiki Crete +7.81%.

The largest decline was registered by the shares: OPAP -4.99% and Kordellos Brothers -4.27%.
