“The work of the new government, especially in the area of the economy, remains critical and difficult. In recent years, Greece has been walking steadily on the paths of development, now looking forward to the rapid recovery of the investment level, however, it has a lot of important things to achieve.”

This is noted in a statement by the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcoming the election of the new government.

In addition, the chamber’s announcement states the following: “The government that emerged from the June 25 election is called upon to keep the country in its economic goals, seeking the inflow of more capital into the market, the fairer management and diffusion of funds from the financial tools of the EU, the continuation of the reforms, the digital and energy transition, the reduction of unemployment and, most importantly, the change of the production model of the country in a way, so that it gives the maximum to the GDP.

The Hellenic German Chamber will vigorously support the development effort of the Greek government, following the European vision as a body, with continuity and consistency and the ultimate goal of economic and social progress, prosperity and sustainability.

The faithful and steady search for a development strategy, which will ensure a strong boost, not only in the economy, but also in society, is for the Greek-German Chamber the first choice, with the main pillar being the further strengthening of Greek-German economic and investment relations”.
