The objective of the invitation is to select 50 local development strategies, which will cover the whole of the country with the exception of its urban centers.
A total of 51 proposals were submitted during the first phase of submission and evaluation of Local Development Strategies with the Initiative of Local Communities in the context of the call for proposals for the selection of Sub-intervention P3-77-4.1 “Support for Local Development through LEADER (TAPToK – Local Development with the Initiative of Local Communities)” of the Strategic Plan KAP (SS KAP).
“The completion of the first phase of the leader is important for our agricultural production. This is a program that is completely consistent with the government’s philosophy and policy to support the Greek region. By supporting the primary sector, we support the Greek region. At the same time, the program serves the European standards of sustainable development and the government’s perception of transition from the model of agricultural exploitation to the model of sustainable and profitable entrepreneurship” said the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Lefteris Avgenakis, in his statement and added:
“We have a plan, we have a vision, we cultivate the future of the primary sector. We give strong perspective incentives to our agricultural production. Our goal is to strengthen agricultural production, sustainable development and support the Greek economy».
According to a statement by the FSA, the proposals that meet the eligibility conditions have the possibility to participate in the second phase of the tender process, the closing date of which is July 12, 2023.
It is noted that in the framework of the invitation, the possibility of submitting objections is provided in all phases of the competition. In the event that all the rural areas of the country are not covered by this invitation, the procedure may be repeated for these areas.
