Stock prices closed higher in today’s meeting Stock Exchangefollowing after three bearish sessions, during which the main stock index had fallen 1.65%.
In upgrading its estimates for the course of the General Index of the Athens Stock Exchange, the Goldman Sachs and estimates that he now sees the General Price Index moving up to 1,375 units in a 12-month horizon, from 1,200 he estimated before.
At the same time the Morgan Stanley notes that Greek banks still have room for upside and upgrades the target prices of banking stocks. He increases the target price of Alpha Bank to 2.11 euros from 1.98 euros before, for National Bank to 7.71 euros from 7.05 euros and for Piraeus to 4.27 euros from 4.04 euros before.

The large-cap index rose 1.04%, while the mid-cap index gained 1.10%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Aegean (+4.13%), Sarantis (+4.00%), Piraeus (+2.85%), Jumbo (+2.79 %), Ellactor (+2.76%) and Ethniki (+2.52%).
On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Elvalhalcor (-0.70%), Eurobank (-0.42%) and PPC (-0.39%).
Of the individual indices, the Financial Services (+3.93%) and Health (+2.12%) indices recorded the greatest increase, while the Raw Materials indices (-0.41%) and of Real Estate (-0.34%).
The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Piraeus, trading 5,440,691 and 3,759,823 shares, respectively.
The highest value of transactions was recorded by Piraeus with 11.83 million euros and Alpha Bank with 8.35 million euros.
58 stocks moved up, 43 fell and 16 remained stable.
The biggest increase was registered by the shares: Eliketos +6.67% and Space Hellas +6.46%.
The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Xylemporia (p) -6.25% and Q&R -3.12%.
