The recent delay in customs clearance of 250,000 MedLevensohn tests to detect Influenza had the participation of Anvisa, according to the Federal Revenue.
This week the company informed its customers that it had a delayed batch because of the high rate of removal of contaminated inspectors from the Secretary of Finance who work in the ports, in addition to claims of the category.
The IRS says it does not comment on strikes by servers and denies the reasons listed by MedLevensohn. According to the agency, the process of releasing these goods depends on the prior approval of the import license by Anvisa.
“Only after this approval and the registration of the import declaration does the action of the Revenue begin. Once the declaration is selected for the green channel, the release is automatic”, says the Revenue.
Sought by the SA Panel, Anvisa says it does not have the necessary data to research the case in the system, such as the import license number.
To the column, the company stated that the products have already been released. “MedLevensohn has made this announcement to its customers based on information it has collected from the market, in order to keep them informed about the scenario,” the company said in a statement.
