Panel SA: Importers of health products report delay in Revenue

by

Abraidi (an association that brings together importers of health care products) says that the standard operation initiated by the Federal Revenue raises concerns among companies in the sector.

According to the entity, 37% of associates report delays in releasing, consenting or inspecting imported goods.

The climate is alert, according to the association. Bruno Bezerra, executive director of Abraidi, says that the stopped load increases the cost of storage, raising other pressures that squeeze margins, such as the high dollar and logistics costs, in addition to the reduction of elective procedures because of the pandemic.

The fight for salary increases began at the end of December, after Bolsonaro waved raises only for federal police officers.

The tax auditors of the Federal Revenue were the first to react, with the delivery of commissioned positions and the beginning of the standard operation, which already affects some ports and borders.
