The Hellenic Federation of Taekwondo continues faithful to the plan for the pre -communal team and the goal is to plan three “tickets” for the three -year planning for the Los Angeles Olympics.
The weekend that has passed us, a very large coaching camp was held and athletes and coaches had the opportunity to work together for the good of the sport. In addition to the National Team, Karditsa was attended by the National Deaf, as well as eight select athletes with awards in the Pan -Hellenic Championships. Together they had the opportunity to train in excellent conditions.
The five select athletes who will participate in the Deaf Olympics in Tokyo had the opportunity to train in a strong three -day camp and take valuable performances. More specifically, Pavlos Litsos, Stergios Bentoulis, Dimitris Kalpzanis, Irene Mahairidou and Alexandra Gialourou participated.
The Deaf Olympics will take place in Tokyo. The administration and the ELOT athletes were happy to accept the National Deaf team and wished them wholeheartedly to excel the upcoming Olympics.
It is worth noting that the Hellenic Federation of Taekwondo on the three -day weekend invited Karditsa to Karditsa all the clubs of the athletes of the National Team. The coaches had the opportunity to attend training and discuss with the federal coaches for their athletes.
It is the first time that the coaches of the athletes in the national team have been given the opportunity to attend joint preparation and discuss their athletes. The aim of the ELOT administration is for the federal coaches to know all the athletes as much as possible, but also, of course, the coaches of the clubs to see how the federal coach, Behzad Hondanad, and his partners work.
