The high demand for consultation and rescue of R$ 8 billion forgotten in bank accounts, a tool put on the air last Monday night (24), continues to cause problems even after being suspended by the agency.
The service was suspended by the Central Bank on Tuesday after searches exploded and overwhelmed servers, and a warning page was placed on the agency’s main page.
Despite this, Internet users continued to try to find out if they had left any resources behind, which makes other BC information and services unavailable. The bank says it “works so that the system is normalized as soon as possible”.
forgotten money rush
According to the institution, the launch of the SRV “generated access demand much higher than expected”, which caused instability on the service platform, on the Central Bank’s main website and on platforms such as Registrato and the Minha Vida Financeira page.
The Bank temporarily suspended access to the SVR to stabilize these sites, it said in a statement.
Registrato is the Bank’s official system that allows the redemption of SRV values, in addition to access to reports with all information on Brazilian financial procedures with values above R$ 200, such as the list of Pix keys registered in each CPF, banks where you are an account holder, you consult bad checks, debts with federal agencies and credit data, such as payroll-deductible loans, and exchange, such as the purchase and sale of foreign currency.
The service was only available in person or via post office, but the online system replaced face-to-face consultations in the pandemic. With the collapse of the BC website caused by access to the SRV, all Registrato services are unavailable.
calculators get stuck
In addition to it, the My Financial Life page, which is also offline, answers citizens’ questions about banking operations, credit operations, foreign exchange and others.
The conversion calculators made available by the BC for calculating inflation and exchange rates were also affected and their access, like the rest of the site, remains unstable.

The launch of the Values Receivable System (SVR) generated access demand much higher than expected, which caused instability on its page and also on the BC, Registrato and Minha Vida Financeira websites. To stabilize these sites, the BC temporarily suspended access to the SVR.
We are working so that the functioning of the sites is normalized as soon as possible and also for the return of the SVR. We will keep the public informed of these developments and apologize for the inconvenience.
