A total of 2.26 billion euros will be paid to 4,160,170 beneficiaries, from 25 to 29 September 2023, as part of the scheduled payments of the e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA).

In particular, as stated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security in its announcement:

1. The e-EFKA will make the following payments, as part of the organization’s regular payments:

  • From 25 to 29 September 2023, 21.3 million euros will be paid to 930 beneficiaries following the issuance of lump sum decisions.
  • On September 29, 2023, 5.6 million euros will be paid for the payment of pension advances (of Law 4778/21) for the month of October 2023 to 15,000 pensioners.
  • On 26 and 28 September 2023, €2.18 billion will be paid for 4,064,914 main and subsidiary pensions.
  • On September 26, 2023, 2,023,034 euros will be paid to 18,126 beneficiaries for TAVTEKO benefits.

2. The following payments will be made by DYPA:

  • 16 million euros to 37,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
  • 18 million euros to 19,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs.
  • 10 million euros to 5,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
  • 4 million euros to 200 institutions for payment of contributions in the context of community service programs.
