Share prices closed with a mild rise in today’s Stock Exchange session, amid a downward movement of the European markets. From the high capitalization, the shares of Ellactor, PPA and PPC outperformed, while the turnover moved to lower levels.

The General Price Index closed at 1,219.57 points, marking an increase of 0.31%.

Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,223.42 units (+0.17%) and a lower price at 1,209.44 units (-0.63%).

The value of the transactions amounted to 75.22 million euros, while 17,415,912 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.16%, while the mid-cap index gained 1.32%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Ellaktor (+3.99%), PPA (+3.72%), PPC (+3.27%), ELPE (+2.60 %) and Sarantis (+2.55%) and Piraeus (+1.90%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Jumbo (-2.43%), Quest Participations (-1.54%), Terna Energy (-1.19%) and EYDAP (-1.03%).

Of the individual indices, the biggest gains were recorded by the Technology (+2.19%) and Utilities (+1.78%) indices, while the biggest losses were recorded by the Personal Products indices (-2.25%) and Trade (-1.48%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 3,598,901 and 3,370,978 shares, respectively.

OPAP recorded the highest transaction value with 15.29 million euros and Piraeus with 7.86 million euros.

41 stocks moved up, 56 down and 12 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: epsilon Net +12.44% and Xylemporia(p) +10.24%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Biocarpet -15.94% and Mermeren -12.44%.
