The high-tech industry of healthcare products is beginning to perceive market growth as a reflection of the resumption of elective surgeries, which were suspended during the peak periods of the pandemic, according to a survey by Abimed, an association of the sector.
Recovery progressed throughout this year. In April, almost 90% of companies registered a drop in revenue, according to a similar survey carried out by Abimed at the time. The index dropped to 42% in the September survey.
About 65% of companies project to end 2021 with expansion.
