The time for submitting applications is extended for payment of the Market Pass for the months of August, September and October 2023 until January 8, 2024 for all beneficiaries. Also, the validity period of digital cards is extendedwhere the financial aid is paid until February 29, 2024. The aforementioned is provided for in the Joint Ministerial Decision signed by the Ministers of National Economy and Finance Kostis Hatzidakis, Interior Nikis Kerameos, Development Kostas Skrekas, Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou and the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Thanos Petralias.

In particular, with the KYA the extension of applications is foreseeneither through the digital platform vouchers.gov.gr, or through the K.E.P.s, for the payment of the Market Pass for the months of August, September, October 2023 up to and including January 8, 2024.

It is reminded that for the beneficiaries who had already received the financial aid in the previous months, it is not necessary to re-submit the application. In addition, for all beneficiaries, the validity of the digital cards where the financial aid is paid is extended until February 29, 2024.

What applies to the change of data

For applicants who submit an application by October 31, it is possible to cancel or change the information on how to receive the aid (via bank deposit or digital card credit) until October 31st. It is emphasized that it is not possible to change it at a later time. For those who submit the application after October 31, 2023 and until January 8, 2024, the possibility to cancel or change the above information is valid until January 8, 2024, when the application is finalized and it is not possible to change it at a later time.

Payment of the aid

With the new deadlines the payment of the aid for the months of August, September and October 2023 is structured as follows:

For those who apply for aid by issuing a digital debit card or credit to a bank account until October 31, the aid is sent to the banking institution for credit to the digital debit card or payment by November 5, 2023.

For those applying for aid by issuing a digital debit card or credit to a bank account after October 31, 2023 and until January 8, 2024, the aid is sent to the banking institution for credit to the digital debit card or payment by January 15, 2024.

It is noted that due to the processing of the data by the banks, beneficiaries to see the amounts credited 1-2 days later than the above mentioned dates.

Case of rejecting the credit process

By January 2024, and before the last scheduled payment date, final checks are carried out for all financial aid applicants, especially for household members. The control includes both the beneficiaries who had received the application in previous cycles of the Market Pass and receive the aid for the months of August – October 2023 automatically, as well as the new applicants. After checking and fulfilling the conditions, a relevant payment is made. In case of rejection of the process of crediting the aid to the digital debit card or to his bank account, the applicant who will be informed by any suitable means will have the right to make the necessary corrections after January 8, 2024 and to resubmit the application until January 26, 2024.

In this case the crediting process to the digital card or bank account takes place until January 31, 2024. If the aid credit process is rejected, it is not allowed to change the means of payment of the aid.

It is noted that the extension of the application submission period for all Market Pass II beneficiaries was decided for reasons of operational alignment of tax administration procedures and in particular to deal with unpaid tax returns due to the extensions of their submission by those affected by natural disasters.
