He reserved praise for the Greeks for Greece’s recovery Christine Lagarde in her tweet through which she thanked him Giannis Stournaras for hosting the meeting of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank in Athens, today, Wednesday and tomorrow.
“Athens has changed enormously in recent years, she is alive, full of energy, and it shows a situation can “turn around”. And clearly the Greek people have made great and very – very satisfactory efforts for the country to recover, as it has been” says the President of the ECB.
Christine Lagarde gave an interview to Sia Kosionis, as part of her visit to Greece on the occasion of the meeting of the ECB’s Board of Directors, which we will follow tonight, on the Central News Bulletin of SKAI at 19.50.
