With two new electronic services, implemented by e-EFKAinsured persons will be able to be informed directly about their insurance history by former social security institution, while for the first time, self-employed insured persons will also be given the opportunity to obtain an electronic certificate of previous service for use exclusively in ASEP services.

Particularly:

With the “summary insurance history”, e-EFKA policyholders are informed, at a glance, of all their insurance periods as a whole by former self-employed or salaried provider, which are shown in aggregate.

With the “detailed insurance history”, e-EFKA policyholders are informed about their insurance history by former employer and self-employed in detail for all their insurance periods per month, insurance branches and total contributions.

With the “electronic certificate of previous service for use in ASEP”, for the first time, self-employed insured persons are given the possibility to obtain an electronic certificate of previous service for use exclusively in the services of ASEP.

The new service is aimed exclusively at self-employed insured persons of the e-EFKA (freelancers, self-employed, farmers) and self-employed people who also have a period of salaried employment before ETAA.

The certificate shows periods of insurance distinct by former self-employed organization, up to 31/12/2016 and from 1/1/2017 with e-EFKA period.

It is noted that, in order to record the non-digitized insurance history, e-EFKA utilized the information available from the systems of the former social security agencies, while the citizens’ insurance life is in the process of being digitized, with the aim of completeness and correctness in the depiction of the insurance and their insurance contributions.

The insured can make use of the new services, through the e-EFKA website (www.efka.gov.gr), by choosing:

– for the summary and detailed history: Online Services – Summary and Detailed Insurance History,

– for the certificate for use in ASEP: Electronic Services – Non-Employed – Certificate of Prior Service for use in ASEP.

As stated in the relevant announcementthe above electronic services are part of an overall strategy of e-EFKA, which is implemented, with the aim of the digital transformation of the agency.

The main objectives are the gradual limitation of movements to and from physical branches, the elimination of unnecessary inconvenience, the uninterrupted service of citizens through digital channels, as well as the exemption from bureaucratic procedures.

Indicative of the progress that has been made is the fact that e-EFKA now has 105 electronic services, through which more than 230 million transactions have been carried out, as can be seen from the latest available data.

For the next day, e-EFKA aims to further upgrade the service to citizens, while its concern is to fulfill its social role and operate with consistency, speed and efficiency.
