Applications for the heating benefit they have already exceeded 910,000 and until the day after tomorrow as beneficiaries try to catch the first payments of December 22. The platform will remain open for another 48 hours and at this rate applications will reach, if not exceed, 1 million.

CAUTION! On December 22 purchases invoiced by November 30 will be paid. For purchases after November 30 payments will be made in February.

Especially for “old” beneficiaries – that is, those who received a heating allowance last year – it is true that they will receive as an advance the entire allowance they received for the period 2022-2032.

However, if the beneficiary received an advance of less than 50% of the value of eligible purchases of subsidized types of heating fuel or thermal energy last year, then he is NOT a beneficiary of an advance.

According to the schedule, 2 more payments will be made:

– until February 29, 2024 for all purchases that will be invoiced until January 31, 2024 and provided the required information is entered until February 15, 2024.
– until April 30, 2024 for all purchases that will be invoiced until March 31, 2024 and provided the required information is entered until April 15, 2024.

The application is relatively simple and is done by entering the myThermanis platform on the AADE website with the taxisnet codes. Those who do not have codes, will be identified either with their tax identification number or with the notification number of the last 5 years tax return.

7 steps are required to complete the application:

1. Choice of accommodation in a single-family house or apartment building
2. Choice of owner or tenant
3. Choice of fuel type
4. Filling in the electricity supply number
5. Selection of settlement of main residence
6. Completing squares
7. Filling in IBAN in myAADE

The heating allowance ranges from €100 to €800 and it is estimated that the beneficiaries will share around €237 million this year. Of this €189m will be credited with the first payment before Christmas.

Around mid-December, the platform for the so-called electricity allowance for those who choose to heat with electricity is expected to open.
